The CamVision Difference
CamVision Education was founded in 2017 by a group of former academics and graduates from the University of Cambridge. With a diverse, international range of backgrounds in the team, we were struck by the differences in experience we and many of our classmates and colleagues went through while applying to one of the world’s top universities.
We found that access to university application guidance was something that depended almost entirely on background and school situation. International students found their access to it even more limited. We work to de-mystify the process surrounding UK university applications for both international and UK students, levelling the playing field for all students from around the globe.

Our Story
2016
CamVision started as an innovative consultancy aimed at connecting international innovators. Our early focus was on tech consultancy and building global networks.
2017
We launched our first short courses in Cambridge, UK, giving international students the chance to broaden their academic and cultural experiences.
2018
We added new services, including online tutoring in super-curricular subjects and university application support. Our efforts paid off when our students secured places at Oxford and Cambridge, for the 2019 intake.
2020
We organised school exchange programmes between China and the UK, promoting collaboration and cultural understanding. These programmes were successful.
2023
By 2023, we were supporting many students each year and partnering with universities and colleges worldwide.
2024
Our team grew from just three to 11 full-time staff by 2024, a reflection of our expanding influence and commitment to quality education.
2025
We expanded our reach and offered support to UK students for the first time.

Prof Nigel Slater
Former Pro-Vice-Chancellor of the University of Cambridge and head of the Department of Chemical Engineering and Biotechnology at the University.
Dr Mengmeng Wang-Purcell
Mengmeng holds doctorate and bachelor’s degrees in engineering and biotechnology from the University of Cambridge, where she also served as an Undergraduate Supervisor.
Chloe Tan
Chloe is central to the development of the company and to ensuring it stays at the forefront of providing education opportunities for students.
Katriona Gregory
Katriona has extensive experience in higher education having worked in Admissions, Student Recruitment and Outreach at Downing College, University of Cambridge and Lancaster University.
Sarah Whittle
Sarah has years of experience as a teacher in the UK school system, and is important in developing CamVision’s pedagogical approach. She co-leads our super-curricular course development.

Theo Howe
Theo holds an MPhil in Film and Screen Studies from the University of Cambridge. He specialises in supporting humanities students with their UK university applications.

Beth holds a BA in Mandarin Chinese and Global Studies from Nottingham Trent University and brings a wealth of experience in guiding international students to gain admission to their dream universities.

Our super-curricular tuition, on the other hand, is designed to provide a bespoke service that caters to each student's interests and needs. Tutoring is delivered online in a live one-to-one setting.
